We carried out the spatial extraction of the welding shop with the help of the G&G Patro JET filtration device manufactured by us. There are 6 welding workplaces in the hall, above which we designed and installed an under-ceiling extraction system. Under the ceiling of the hall, we have installed a suction pipeline, which ensures the extraction of smoke from the center of welding workplaces with suction extensions.

For spatial extraction of the welding shop, we used a G&G Patro JET 3-3-2-18 cartridge filter with automatic regeneration of the filter medium using compressed air with 18 cartridges. With a filtration area of ​​324 m2 and a suction capacity of 19,000 m3 / h. Dust particles are collected in a bucket with a volume of 50 l. The filtered air is returned to the production area by means of a distribution sleeve with perforated holes so that the filtered air is distributed downwards to the floor. When spatially extracting a welding shop, it is always very important to extract under the ceiling and return the air towards the floor so that there is no warmer air under the ceiling, which then prevents the smoke from rising.

Cartridge filter description

It is a dry, cartridge filter device for dust fractions, equipped with automatic regeneration of the filter medium by means of compressed air. Regeneration of the filter medium takes place cyclically in set time intervals with the possibility of control according to the current pressure loss. The suction power is determined by the fan used according to the type of material and the required load of the filter surface. The load on the filter surface is set at a minimum of 1.0 m3 / m2 / min for the G&G Patro JET filter. The fan is not part of the filter unit. We manufacture filtration equipment in a design for placement in an outdoor environment, without the need for roofing. The filtration equipment achieves a high filtration efficiency – at 99.9%, so it is possible to return the filtered air to the production hall. The ratio of air return to the hall space and the outdoor environment is determined by the designer of the technology according to the characteristics of the extracted material and the air conditions of the production facility.
