Our reference includes the production and installation of cylindrical silos for the storage of polymer additives. The silo is equipped with a G&G SILOVIB filtration device with regeneration by vibro-knocking.
The subject of the contract was to the design, manufacture and implement a system for storing and dosing polymer additives for further technological processing. The largest part of the implementation consists of a cylindrical silo, equipped with a filter device for venting pneumatic transport. The system of removal of material from the silo is solved by a screw conveyor, weighing container and also by a system of low pressure – fan conveying. Production of all components is provided by G&G filtration, general delivery of the turnkey assembly is provided by G&G filtration CZ.
Cylindrical silo for storing bulk material, sawdust and wood chips
G&G Silos from our production services for the storage of bulk material. We also use a cylindrical silo to store material such as sawdust, shavings and wood chips. The most common application of silos is to ensure the operational supply of fuel for the boiler room. Longer supply of material for the briquetting line or as a waste dispatcher. G&G silos can be equipped with a screw discharge system in the bottom conical section of the hopper with a rotary feeder closure at the material outlet. For silo filling, pneumatic material transport is the most common way. We also use a filtering device located on the silo ceiling to ensure optimal working conditions. When transporting the chips, it is possible to use a cyclone separator located on the silo ceiling. The cylindrical silo can be equipped with relief membranes for storing explosive dust, access ladders and extra filling pipeline.
The production of cylindrical silos is always performed according to the specific assignment by the investor. Depending on the client’s needs, we supply silos with a steel frame construction with an underpass height for a truck. Placement on a concrete foundation with a follow-up material path to the boiler room, briquetting plant or for further processing is standard for us..
