Implementation of welding shop exhaust with G&G Jet BAG filtration system

One of our major references is the installation of a G&G Jet BAG filter system for welding shop exhaust. This equipment is equipped with flat textile filter hoses and an intelligent control unit that optimises the regeneration of the filter medium, which significantly reduces the consumption of pressurised air.

Objective of the contract and technological solution

The main objective of the project was to ensure efficient extraction of dust and particles during welding, with an emphasis on low operating costs and long equipment life. The filter is designed with a structure that allows vertical airflow, which helps to remove dust into the hopper and minimise pressure losses.

The device uses regeneration of the filter media by means of pressure air pulses, which are activated only when the pressure loss increases. This extends the life of the filter media to over 22,000 operating hours.

Additional solution for demanding applications

In applications such as grease plate welding, the filter system is supplemented by a sorbent dosing station, which increases the efficiency of filter media regeneration and ensures reliable operation even under demanding conditions.
