Significant references for the use of G&G Jet VAC filtration equipment for air filtration in pellet production

Our G&G Jet VAC filtration system has been successfully implemented for dust extraction in pellet, sawdust and wood material production. The filter is equipped with a dual regeneration system, which combines vibro-knock and pressure air regeneration, thus saving operating costs on pressure air.

Order description and delivery

In the framework of this contract, we provided the manufacture and delivery of a filtering system for the extraction of dust generated during the production of pellets and sawdust in the wood processing industry. The filtration equipment is pressurised, which means that the air is first cleaned and then returned to the working environment. The plant is equipped with a dual regeneration system that combines pneumatic vibratory shaving and regeneration with pressurized air. This regeneration system saves compressed air and significantly reduces maintenance and operating costs.

Technical parameters of the filtration system

The G&G Jet VAC filter unit is specially designed for applications in the wood processing industry where sawdust, wood chips and pellets are produced. The filter is equipped with a pneumatically controlled vibratory shaker that periodically shakes the filter hoses, ensuring efficient regeneration of the filter media with low energy consumption. This vibratory shaving is the primary method of regeneration, which takes place periodically and does not burden operating costs. Pneumatic regeneration is automatically activated only in the event of higher pressure drop, ensuring efficient consumption of pressurized air.

Thanks to this dual regeneration system, operating costs and air consumption are significantly reduced, contributing to the overall energy efficiency of the filtration plant. An integrated screw conveyor then ensures efficient removal of the separated sawdust from the filter hopper and its subsequent transport to the investor's container.

Safety measures for explosive dust extraction

As the sawdust being extracted can be classified as explosive dust, the filter plant has been equipped with pressure relief membranes to allow the safe release of pressure waves to the outside environment in the event of an explosion. These safety measures are crucial to minimise the risk of explosion and ensure safe operation.

Waste treatment and filtrate removal

Sawdust that has been separated by filtration is conveyed by screw conveyor to the investor's collection container for further processing or storage. This system ensures efficient removal of waste without the need for frequent operator intervention, minimising the cost of operating and maintaining the system.

Installation and implementation

The installation of the filtration system was carried out by the client under the supervision of our chief installer. This implementation allowed the client to start up operations quickly and efficiently with minimal downtime.
