Our G&G Jet BAG filter units are ideal for applications that require efficient filtration of grinding dust. These units feature long filter media life and minimized filter media replacement costs, ensuring economical operation in the long term.

 

Comprehensive supply of filtration equipment for grinding plant dust extraction

As part of this contract, we supplied G&G Jet BAG filtration equipment, designed for efficient dust extraction and filtration in grinding plants. The filter unit is equipped with an automatic regeneration system that cleans the filter media using pressurised air. The filter media is flat non-woven fabric hoses that are specially designed for long life and efficiency in the filtration of fine dust. Extraction is provided by a radial high pressure fan which offers excellent efficiency and reliability. The G&G Jet BAG filtration equipment for grinding plant applications is designed to provide continuous extraction performance with a long filter media life - a minimum of 5 years in two-shift operation. The entire delivery was carried out for our partner, GreMi KLIMA, s.r.o..

 

Specifications and advantages of the filtration unit

The G&G Jet BAG filter unit is equipped with a pre-separation chamber, which effectively separates coarser abrasive dust, thus protecting the filter media from mechanical damage. The regeneration system is located at the top of the filter cabinet, allowing the outlet pipe of the filtered air to be connected at the bottom of the unit. This configuration aids in the regeneration of the filter media while reducing pressure loss during filter operation.

Regeneration of the filter unit is controlled by an intelligent control unit that dynamically responds to the actual pressure loss of the system. If the pressure drop is low, regeneration automatically shuts down, saving pressurized air. As soon as the pressure loss increases, the regeneration intensity increases, optimally ensuring the long-term and efficient operation of the filter unit.

This intelligent regeneration system represents a significant saving of pressurised air compared to traditional regeneration control methods, resulting in lower energy consumption and lower operating costs.

 

Abrasive dust extraction

When extracting dust from the grinding plant, it is necessary to ensure effective removal of both very fine dust and coarser abrasive particles that can cause wear on the extraction duct. For this purpose, a welded, thick-walled extraction duct has been used which is resistant to abrasive wear from abrasive dust. This pipework minimises maintenance costs and ensures the long-term reliability of the system.
