We realized an order for our partner - SURFIN Technology s.r.o., which consisted in the design of a cleaning box for castings using cleaning - blowing nozzles with a system of suction into a fabric filtration device.

The designed cleaning system of castings before painting has the task of removing dust particles from the castings before entering the painting line.

Our technology has thus become a fixed part of the complete painting line from the general contractor SURFIN Technology s.r.o.

The cleaning - blowing box is uniquely designed, where the cleaning of the castings is carried out by two blowing nozzles obliquely placed against the direction of movement of the castings. For air extraction and filtration we used our own filtration equipment of the G&G Jet BAG type.

The whole system works as a single functional assembly, which also triggers the high pressure fan of the blowing box together with the filtration unit. Dust collection is handled by a 50 litre bucket. The filtered air is returned to the production area. The design and manufacture of the individual devices was our own. The installation work was carried out by our partner company V-Dusting.

G&G Jet BAG filtration equipment

The G&G Jet BAG filter units are textile filter units equipped with automatic regeneration of the filter media by means of a counter-current of pressurised air. From experience in individual applications, the lifetime of the filter media is more than 20,000 operating hours, without the need for any manual refinishing. The filter medium is a flat, smooth, non-woven fabric sleeve with a weight of 550 g/m2. The filter medium does not contain any folds in which dust can settle. It is also very mechanically resistant to tearing or puncture. The residual drift of dust particles ranges from 0,25 mg/m3 to 5 mg/m3 depending on the dust extracted. The filtration plant is equipped with either a 50 litre waste hopper or waste discharge via a rotary feeder into a BIG-BAG, or in a design according to specific demand. G&G Jet BAG filters are also available in versions for the extraction of explosive dusts.
