Description of the filter unit
It is a dry, textile dust filtration device, equipped with automatic regeneration of the filter medium by means of compressed air. Regeneration of the filter medium takes place cyclically in set time intervals with the possibility of control according to the current pressure loss. We manufacture filtration equipment in a design for placement in an outdoor environment, without the need for a roof. The filtration equipment achieves high filtration efficiency - at 99.9%. Regeneration is started automatically in connection with the operation of pneumatic transport in the overpressure version, or in connection with the operation of the fan in the underpressure version of the silo filter.
G&G SiloJET textile silo filters can be ordered separately without a fan - when used for deaeration of pneumatic transports in hermetically sealed silos. Also available with integrated fan and circular silencer - 82 dB (A) for vacuum design of the silo filter. The silo filter can be supplied in stainless steel or equipped with thermal insulation.
Using a filter
The filtration device is designed for the separation of dust from the extracted air. The G&G SiloJET textile filter is designed for air filtration with a high degree of dust. The filtration device is suitable for deaeration of cement, lime, soda or other sticky materials. We also produce stainless steel filters for use in the food industry in sugar silos or other food products.
The filtration device is designed for the filtration of air with a temperature of -30 °C to + 80 °C. The filter is not intended for explosive dust, but it can be supplemented with an antistatic filter medium and components for placement in an area with a risk of explosion. The service life of filter fabrics is guaranteed for at least 20,000 operating hours. Replacing the filter medium takes an experienced service technician a maximum of 1 hour of work.
