In collaboration with the project partner - VUT
The objective of the project is to develop a high-temperature exhaust gas filtration unit for biomass boilers and similar applications up to 450 °C. Utilizing a specialized non-woven mesh made from stainless steel fibres, a filtration device with unique properties will be developed. This will significantly enhance the company's competitiveness both domestically and, more importantly, in international markets. The research project's objectives can be summarised into the following sub-goals: 1. Verifying the efficiency and pressure losses of filter materials based on stainless steel mesh. 2. Exploring geometric optimisation possibilities for filtration elements made from stainless steel mesh. 3. Testing the aforementioned characteristics on the developed equipment during operation. 4. Determining whether stainless steel mesh filter elements are suitable for practical use. Analysis of advantages/disadvantages.
