PROBLEMS OF SAWDUST EXTRACTION PROCESS IN WOODWORKING
Sawdust extraction in woodworking is an integral part of the production of any wooden product. In raw wood processing, sawdust is wet and heavy, and the method of sawdust extraction and subsequent processing is different from that of dry sawdust. Both small mobile sawdust extractors for single-purpose woodworking machines and central sawdust extraction systems are often used in woodworking plants. The downstream processing of sawdust is also becoming an ever higher priority.
Storage of sawdust in silos for the boiler house or briquetting of sawdust for resale. Our company designs and manufactures small mobile sawdust extractors, transport fans, filter units for central sawdust extraction, silos for sawdust storage and hydraulic floors for the removal of sawdust from concrete sawdust and woodchip bins.
When designing a central sawdust extraction system, we always try to understand the function of the individual machines and their use during working hours. The required extraction capacities are in most cases set by the woodworking machine manufacturer. We design the central extraction duct for a flow velocity in the range of 18 to 23 m/s. For machines that are used less frequently during production time, we install shut-off dampers and gate valves so that this machine can be disconnected from the central extraction system and thus save extraction power for other machines that are actively used. We produce filter units for central extraction either with overpressure or underpressure.
We produce silos with emptying mechanism
GG silos are used to store bulk materials or small wood materials such as sawdust, shavings and chips generated in wood processing plants. The most common use of silos in timber production is to store sawdust generated in the actual production. The stored sawdust is used to provide an operating fuel supply for a boiler house or briquetting line. In timber production, GG silos are used as a sawdust dispatching warehouse for the transport of sawdust by truck. For the storage of sawdust and wood chips, the silo is always equipped with an auger system for material excavation. GG silos are also used for storage of bulk materials such as plastic pellets, additives and other raw materials for the production process.
