Dust extraction in a quarry

PROBLEMS OF THE DUST EXTRACTION PROCESS IN THE QUARRY
Dust extraction in the quarry ensures both the protection of the environment by extracting dust, but mainly ensures the cleaning of the individual fractions of the stone crushed from dust particles. Although the previously used water pressure misting system is effective in reducing the spread of dust to the surrounding environment, the dust associated with the water mist ends up back in the gravel crushed stone.
In quarries, dust removal is not only carried out by connecting a central extraction pipe to the flanges of the stopes, but the individual fractions of material can be dusted off by blowing using a separate fan and a system of nozzles and suction nozzles. Such applications can also be implemented in existing solutions in established quarries. The cleaning of the aggregate fraction from the unwanted filter is carried out by installing blow-off nozzles at the overflow of the resulting fraction. The main dust extraction technologies in the quarry are crusher extraction, classifier extraction, conveyor belt overflow extraction, filling nozzle extraction.
